Each of us on the wall created a quilt especially designed for Natalie and her wonderful #handmakerfabrics. When I received my fabrics I just had to make flowers -- the colors are vibrant and fun, and I loved the simple (yet complex) patterning.
This bundle of fabrics contain all the fabrics from Nat's new line and could be yours.... keep reading for further details.
Below is the quilt: Flowers for Natalie
and as it appeared on the wall at Quilt Market...

Hi!! I hope to check out Natalie's fabrics at Prairie Rose Quilt Shop in Minot, ND. She's got a variety of modern fabrics and, I hope, she'll be ordering some of these. They're great colors and prints!
ReplyDeleteI would check out the fabrics for the quilt at QuiltegÄrden in Trondheim, Norway. Siw, who runs the store probably does not have the specific fabric line, but she has wonderful substitutes.
ReplyDeleteI can usually depend on Pink Castle Fabrics in Ann Arbor Michigan to carry the latest, modern quilt fabrics. I hope they do since I'd love to see this line in person!

I will have to order on-line since the only nearby fabric shop won't carry it. However, Missouri Quilts have a fat quarter bundle that's already in my cart. Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if my local quilt shops--each of which I love--will carry it. I'm absolutely going to ask. But if they don't, I'll make the hourlong drive to Portland, where Fabric Depot is certain to have it. They have everything, and they are still an independent store, so it's kind of the best of both worlds.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the Quilted Angel will have these in Petaluma,CA
ReplyDeleteI would check out Janie Lou's in Kirkwood, MO to see if they carry this. If not, I would then check The Quilted Cottage in St. Charles, MO.

ReplyDeleteI'm hoping that Sew Simple in Redding Ca will be carrying Natalie's line.
ReplyDeleteI am loving hearing about all the shops people find their fabric at. Reminds me of trips taken in the past where we mapped out all the quilt stores along the route... way before shop hops! Look forward to seeing even more!
ReplyDeleteI don't have many quilt shops near me that carry much in the way of modern fabrics. Perhaps Fabric Shack in Waynesville, OH. It's just a few hours away and has a great selection. Ordering online could be a good option too.
